Favourite restaurants of the locals10 Litchfield 10 Litchfield is a real local favourite. It is set up by businessman, restaurateur and magician Tim Hayward, who was recently accepted as a member of one of the world's most exclusive clubs - the London based Magic Circle. A cafe style restaurant with a lovely rainforest garden setting, as well as modern, air-conditioned interior. Enjoy a modern Australian dish from our unique menu that focus on the freshest of local produce. A truly unique NT dining experience. Meals are very reasonably priced. 10 Litchfield is located behind The Cav hotel at 10 Litchfield St. Hogs Breath Café Slow cooked prime rib steaks, tender chicken, huge salads and burgers. Kids and vegetarian meals. Fully licensed. Well managed and staffed, the food here is always nice, very filling and goes down well with a beer or two. A top place for a casual dinner or lunch on the go. Food with Attitude is it motto. Located over the road from the cinemas on Mitchell St. Seafood On Cullen Seafood on Cullen offers a great seafood combination buffet dining in a relaxed environment overlooking. Price is $27.50 but is one of the best and freshest sea food buffets you will ever enjoy. Located in Cullen Bay with ocean views. Buzz Café Great food, great atmosphere and the best location in Darwin. Buzz Cafe has a lively bar scene and a broad menu serving Australian specialities, local seafood, and fish and chips, as well as a large wine selection. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor eating areas, all facing the marina and bay. With some of the most unusual features of any restaurant in the world. In the male toilets you can actually stand and face the whole restaurant and do your business while it looks and feels like the whole restaurant is looking through a plate of glass at you but thankfully you can see out onto the whole restaurant but the restaurant can not see you. Easily the most famous and talked about restaurant in Darwin. In the Callen Bay area overlooking the marina. The Stokes Hill Wharf Certainly a local favourite. Lovely place to sit in the evening with a glass of wine or a beer. You are not suppose to take alcohol to the wharf as it can be brought there but many locals do. There are several options to choose from Chinese, Thai, Fish & Chips, Croc burgers, Buffalo burgers or Schnitzel all made fresh as you order and very reasonably priced. One of the best places to take in a Darwin sun set. A must go place. |
