It is situated on the Cnr Mitchell & Knuckey Street. Another avenue to finding a room is by asking your new work mates if they know of anywhere. Often they will know someone looking for a boarder but don’t wish to advertise in the paper.

When renting a room in any part of Australia you will be required to pay 4 weeks bond. This is a standard practice in Australia even for local people. It is like a security if something goes wrong. You will also be required to pay 2 weeks in advance. The average price of renting a room in Australia is from $100 to $180. A nice room in a standard unit would normally cost about $100 - $140 a week plus expenses. Expenses are electricity, phone etc.
