If you do not wish to fly via Hong Kong then you can try a direct flight into Singapore. Many airlines fly into Singapore like Emirates, Qatar, British Airways, Malaysian Airlines etc. Check out Expedia.com for who flies to Singapore and which airline has the best prices but it is then usually cheaper to book on the internet directly with the airlines website.

Airasia have not yet started their London to Kaula Lumper service but it is expected some time in 2008.  

Darwin to the East Coast of Australia

Tigerairways.com fly Darwin to Melbourne from $79 one way inc tax

Jetstar.com and Virginblue.com fly Darwin to the East Coast from $129 on super special, $179 is a average price but must book in advance. Qantas.com also flies this leg but are not a budget airline.

Skywest.com fly Darwin to Broome and Perth.

Flights out of Darwin to the East Coast  are at their busiest May, June, July, August. It is highly recommended to book well in advance. Outside of these periods, the prices are usually very low.

# To get these prices, it is advised to book in advance, and leave plenty of time between stopovers if you are changing airline companies.
