Weather in Darwin
Weather in Darwin is broken up into 2 seasons. Locally known as the wet (November to April) and the dry (May to October). The two seasons are totally different even though the temperature remains almost constant throughout the year. The average temperature of Darwin is 30 degrees. During the dry season you get a nice dry heat. People say Darwin gets perfect weather for 6 months of the year.
It is also very unlikely that it will rain in Darwin during the dry season. During the wet season you get high humidity during the day and rain in the late afternoon and overnight. At this time of the year, flooding is common, as are spectacular lightning displays and cyclone warnings. The wetlands come alive with wildlife and green is the dominant colour
